A GIFT

I met up with my mentor today.  He’s played in a couple of movies (Friday, Couples Retreat, Blue Crush) and he’s also a stand-up comedian.  Well, we met up for lunch today and before he had been asking about an iphone case that he wanted, the one that look like a cassette tape.  Finally, my order came in and I brought it with me to give to him. 

Then he handed me a framed butterfly:

He told me that it was time to spread my wings.

GOT FORKS?

With change comes opportunity.  I appreciate KKFR, the people, the listeners, the station.  Ten years ago, I didn’t see what was in store for my future.  I started off interning and then worked my way into a getting hired, I really wanted to stay involved in the music.  With dedication my dreams came true.  Still young in the game, I’ve learned that life will always bring about roadblocks and passageways, we just have to keep full steam ahead.  Not sure what my next assignment is but in the meantime I will be hanging in Phoenix for now. You can find me in a few clubs deejaying and stay updated with me right here on my site!

New TATOO!

“It’s very rare that I get tattoo’s, however when something special happens in my life then I’ll go and get some ink work done.”  I actually told that a good friend that a few months back.

Well, last week she found out that I recently got promoted at KKFR Power 98.3 and reached out to me.
